I used the Abib Heartleaf Calming Trial Kit from start to finish, hoping it would help calm and improve my skin over time, but unfortunately I didn’t notice any real change. The products felt nice going on and were gentle enough for my skin, which I appreciated. Nothing caused irritation or breakouts, and the texture of everything was lightweight and easy to layer in a routine. That said, after consistently using the entire trial kit, I didn’t see any improvement in redness, sensitivity, or overall skin appearance. It just felt like a basic skincare routine without any noticeable calming or skin-soothing benefits for me personally.I think it could still work for someone who is just looking for a very gentle, simple set of products, but based on my experience, it didn’t deliver any visible results or changes in my skin.Overall, it was okay in terms of feel and usability, but I won’t be purchasing the full size since I didn’t see any difference after finish the full trial kit.
Se nota la diferencia desde el primer uso
I bought it as a travel kit for my trips. It’s a small kit with everything you need. It’s my first time trying the Heartleaf calming collection and I like it. I prefer the Jericho Rose collection for my mature skin but it's worth it not having to squeeze my beauty products into smaller containers and just carry this kit trial. I will buy it again.
This trial kit stood out immediately for its soothing, well-balanced formulations and versatility across skin types. Each step feels purposeful, calming, and easy to incorporate into a daily routine. The Heartleaf Foam Cleanser has a lightly pearlescent appearance and works into a soft, airy foam once lathered. It leaves the skin feeling clean but never tight or stripped. There’s a very faint fresh scent on application, but it quickly disappears and feels essentially fragrance-free. After rinsing, my skin felt smooth, comfortable, and refreshed. The Heartleaf Calming Toner is very watery and absorbs almost instantly. Like the other products, it comes in a firm bottle that requires shaking out small amounts, but it’s easy to control. There’s no tackiness here - just immediate soothing hydration with a lightweight feel. It leaves skin calm, balanced, and ready for the next step. The Heartleaf TECA Capsule Serum is thinner than expected and very fluid, so only a small amount is needed. It feels slightly tacky at first but dries down quickly into a smooth, comfortable finish. The cooling, calming sensation is noticeable right away, especially on skin that feels sensitized or overstimulated. The standout for me is the Heartleaf Cream. It comes in a soft, collapsible tube that holds its shape once squeezed. The texture is a perfect medium-weight cream - rich without being heavy. It spreads effortlessly, and even a small amount covers the entire face. The finish is silky, comforting, and deeply soothing, without greasiness or shine. There’s no scent at all, and it layers beautifully over the rest of the routine. This kit feels especially well-suited for sensitive, reactive, or acne-prone skin, as well as anyone using active ingredients who needs extra calming support. The textures are lightweight but effective, with no lingering stickiness. The mini sizes are ideal for travel or testing before committing to full sizes, and every product works well both together and individually. For me, the cream alone makes this kit worth it.

This Abib "Heartleaf Calming Trial Kit" I really like. It is rare that I ever find (now that I'm middle aged) a facewash designed for acne prone skin that isn't overly drying. In the past, I even hesitate to buy any acne face washes to my tween daughter, they seem so harsh and overly drying to me, I cannot imagine they are ideal for any skin type, even young skin. But this Abib acne face wash is gentle on my skin. It does have a very slight drying feel to it after, but it is almost imperceptible. The toner in this set is also gentle, it doesn't sting or feel drying. The serum is lightweight, perfect for if you want a bit of hydration back, but not overly so. The face cream in this set feels light but moisturizing. I feel like I could use this myself if I wanted without it drying my skin out, but probably this is most idea for my tween daughter who does struggle with breakouts more often. It seems like a great place to start and now that I've tried it myself, I have no qualms about it. I love that this is a trial size of all four products (note how mini they are in the photo with the ruler) so you can try them all out at once before you commit to the full-sized items. Just a side note: the serum has such a cool look to it- little green bubbles suspended in the clear liquid. These all do seem to be unscented, which is great! (Note: Made in Korea.)
This wasn't an expensive trial set at 18 dollars. I found value in a couple of these items, more than the others. I did not find any of these products to be overly calming, but they were somewhat soothing to my skin, whether or not it was already irritated. I did not experience any adverse reactions from using any of the four products in this set.My favorite item in this little bundle was the cleanser. I like the way this lathers and has the ability to effectively clean, while still maintaining its claim as being gentle. I often have trouble finding a balance with most cleansers I try. A lot leave my oily skin needing a double wash to feel clean, or they visibly dry my skin upon use. I didn't have this problem here. All three of the leave-on varieties set with a somewhat sticky feel, but to be fair, nearly everything does with me. I have oily skin, with dry patches a-plenty. While I did not find this moisturizer to be super hydrating, it did so more subtly. I found it necessary to use with a heavier variety. I liked that I could wear this day or night, without it making my skin look overly shiny, as I find most do. This wasn't without shine, but less so. I feel like my skin absorbs these fairly well over time.I have not experienced any dramatic results from use, but nothing in this kit was particularly bad, either. Each of these had a light fragrance, but nothing I couldn't manage. I am overly sensitive to scent induced headaches, migraines and nausea. For something that resides around my nostrils, I was especially grateful for this fact.If anything, I may consider the cleanser again in the future. The set is currently on sale for 13.50, which is roughly a dollar less than the cost of the regular 5 oz sized cleanser. I think that's a a decent deal to try these products out for yourself. Everyone will respond differently. I like to try products in smaller quantities sometimes, so I don't buy a full sized mistake. These could also make a good stocking stuffer type gift. I do know that I will definitely use all of these to completion.
WHY I DECIDED TO TRY ITMy skin is basically a walking contradiction... super oily most of the time but it can get sensitive the second the weather shifts or I dare to try a new potent ingredient. I needed something that would actually calm down redness and irritation without making me break out (which yep, still happens these days). This little travel/mini kit was the perfect, low commitment way to see if the Abib Heartleaf line lived up to the hype.HOW IT WORKED FOR MEI introduced this routine when my skin was at its most unhappy and thankfully, it handled it well. The best part is not a single one of the 4 products (foam, toner, serum or cream) made things worse. It was quite the opposite. The calming effect was immediate and noticeable. My face just felt less inflamed and the general redness I was dealing with really started to back off the next day. The formulas are all very light..they never felt heavy or greasy which is a massive plus for my skin type. I was relieved that I didn't get any new blemishes while using it. It's gentle, refreshing and the cream gives just the right amount of moisture without feeling sticky.WHO I'D RECOMMEND THIS FORI think this kit is a must try if you have:• Skin that’s both Sensitive & Oily/Combination: It manages both issues without compromise.• A Trip Coming Up: These sizes are perfect for fitting in your carry on bag.• Hesitation About Buying Full Sizes: It’s the easiest way to test the entire line and see if it works for you before investing.FINAL THOUGHTSThis trial kit was exactly the gentle reset my irritated & oily skin needed. It delivered the soothing benefits I was seeking and kept my oil in check without causing any trouble. I enjoy using these products and am looking forward to trying out more from this K-Beauty line.
I bought this trial kit to see if it would help calm down some redness I was experiencing. The toner and serum were the clear winners for me; they both absorbed almost instantly with no sticky feeling at all. My skin definitely looked less irritated after just a few days of using the whole system together. The cleanser was maybe a little drying for my personal preference, but the crème was light and balanced everything out nicely. It was the perfect way to test everything without committing to the big bottles.

Loveeeee the feeling and results!!!
These products are very nice on my skin. A great way to try them out before buying full size.
Its size is very small, so it is perfect for travel use, allowing me to maintain my skincare routine anytime and anywhere. The best part is that I discovered this product is very gentle on my dry and sensitive skin. After each use, there is a soothing experience. There were no redness, stinging or other discomforts. At the same time, I really like that its scent is not too strong, it's a light and pleasant fragrance. However, I do hope that the volume of its essence could be larger. Since my skin is very dry, I use more of the essence, and this bottle can only last about a week or so.
Exploring Korean skincare is becoming one of my hobbies, but I don't like committing to fullsize products before I can test them out. This little trial kit was the perfect size for me sampling the Abib Heartleaf Calming line. I love that the products are hypoallergenic and cover all of the steps I need for a daily routine, from a cleanser to a toner to a serum and a moisturizer. I enjoyed everything but the cleanser itself, but if I decide to purchase a full size item from this kit, I'll probably start with the serum. I really enjoyed how that made my skin feel (and how it gave my skin a little boost) when I wore it.
Really good product, doesn't irritate my skin.will definitely buy again
This trial kit is a nice introduction to the Heartleaf line and works well for sensitive or easily irritated skin. The cleanser feels gentle and refreshing without leaving dryness, and the toner absorbs quickly with a soothing finish. The serum has a light texture that calms redness effectively, and the cream locks in moisture without feeling heavy. The travel-friendly sizes are convenient for short trips or for testing the full routine before buying larger bottles. While the hydration level is good, it may not be rich enough for very dry skin types. Overall, it’s a balanced and calming set that delivers what it promises.
Very basic skincare products that don't irritate my skin but also don't "wow" me in any way.
These products have only been used for 4 days, and I can already see a noticeable improvement in my facial healing. With sensitive skin, it's challenging to find a product that will help. I bought these smaller sample bottles to try them out. For me, I will be buying the larger bottles and tubes. I feel better! Thank you, Abib, for the calming treatment
